Boot Camp DVD

I've been watching Extreme Makeover Weightloss Edition since season 1 and it's one of my favorite shows. I like it because it shows each persons journey over a whole year rather than just a few weeks like Biggest Loser (but I love watching that too). I've considered writing to Chris Powell to ask him to take me on as a client and maybe I will some day. But until then, I've got his boot camp DVD. Just ordered it tonight and can't wait to try it out!

PB2 is AWESOME!

I came across this stuff called PB2 online, it's powdered peanut butter, you just add water. Thought that was super weird and had never heard of it. Recently a gal at Zumba said she tried it and that it actually was good and that she found it at Fred Meyer. Last time I went they were all sold out. I finally found some last night! The only flavor they had was chocolate peanut butter but I tried it last night...Soooooooo good! It's great, only 45 calories vs. the 190 calories or so regular peanut butter has and it's because they cut out most of the oils and fat!

Zucchini Noodles

I love zuchinni....I love pasta. I'd been wanting to try using zuchinni as a pasta replacement for some time now and finally did about a week or so ago. And so glad I did! Very filling and so yummy, even the hubby and my little guy approved! Can't wait to try it with alfredo sauce!

Breakfast shake

I prefer the Chocolate flavored Advocare shakes but I'm out...So I added pumpkin spice to my Vanilla shake this morning. Yummy :) I like to add cinnamon too.

Sneaking in baby's veggies

On this new journey of eating better and eating more clean foods, I've also made the switch for hubby and baby too so we can do this new lifestyle together. My 17 month old pretty much loves any fruit, it's the veggies that he doesn't care for. I've been trying different veggie/fruit combos in smoothies to try to sneak the veggies in. This morning I did about 1/4 cup of juice, a big spoonful of blueberries, 1/2 a pear, a handful of spinach,  and 1/2 an avocado and ice. He drank the whole thing! You can use more juice I just usually do half water and half juice so he's not getting so much sugar'

A little humor...

Wow...2 years later!

As you can see, I started this blog just over 2 years ago, blogged for like a week, then disappeared. Long story short...about 2 week's into really watching my portions and exercising I found out I was pregnant! Fast forward a little over 2 years and I've got a 17 month old son who keeps me very busy. I'm still severely overweight but he has inspired me to start my weightloss journey over again! So here's to lookng forward I will be posting recipes, workouts, etc!
